Senior Analyst,  Replenishment – Lowe’s BDT

The Senior Replenishment Analyst drives end-to-end demand replenishment strategy to support shared sales growth, service performance, and inventory health for both SMG and Lowe’s. Leveraging strong retail analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of Lowe’s supply chain ecosystem, this role optimizes store and distribution center inventory across high-velocity seasonal curves and peak selling periods.

The ideal candidate acts as a subject matter expert in Lowe's vendor compliance and seasonal inventory management, combining root-cause analysis with proactive planning to maximize in-stock levels, fill rates, and supply chain efficiency throughout the year.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Replenishment & Seasonal Execution
  • Design and execute data-driven demand and replenishment strategies aligned with sales performance, GMROI, inventory turns, and working capital targets.

  • Manage high-volume seasonal demand curves, building pre-season inventory ramps, executing mid-season sell-through adjustments, and orchestrating end-of-season exit strategies.

  • Monitor regional and store-level Weeks of Supply (WOS), directing inventory movement to accommodate weather-driven demand spikes, promotional campaigns, and off-shelf placements.

  • Conduct continuous inventory health audits to ensure automated replenishment systems reflect accurate seasonal safety stock settings, lead times, and promotional uplifts.

Retailer Partnership & Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Partner directly with Lowe’s Inventory Planning and Replenishment (IP&R) teams to align on replenishment parameters, peak-season safety stock strategies, and seasonal build schedules.

  • Collaborate internally with Sales, Finance, and Demand Planning teams to synchronize seasonal demand planning with commercial targets and promotion schedules.

  • Drive alignment across key retail metrics, balancing maximum product availability during seasonal surges with lean post-season inventory exposure.

Analytics, Insights & Performance Tracking
  • Deliver actionable root-cause analysis and diagnostic reporting on core operational KPIs, including In-Stock %, Fill Rate, On-Time In-Full (OTIF), and Lowe’s vendor compliance metrics.

  • Resolve order fulfillment bottlenecks and supply chain disruptions proactively to protect seasonal sales windows and mitigate vendor compliance penalties.

  • Build standard and ad-hoc analytical tools to evaluate store, DC, and SKU-level inventory performance across historical and real-time seasonal trends.

Program Management & Seasonal Readiness
  • Lead the Ready for Season (RFS) process, managing end-to-end execution for seasonal resets, new product introductions, line reviews, and item master setups to ensure flawless on-time execution.

  • Track seasonal modular updates, display pallet execution, and off-shelf placement logistics to ensure 100% store readiness ahead of peak retail windows.

Qualifications & Technical RequirementsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.

  • Progressive experience in replenishment planning, demand planning, or inventory control within a CPG manufacturer or retail environment.

  • Seasonal Supply Chain Expertise: Proven track record managing highly seasonal product categories, weather-impacted inventory builds, or peak-season promotional surges in big-box retail.

  • Direct experience supporting or working within Lowe’s supply chain operations or large-format home improvement / mass retailers preferred.

Technical & Analytical Capabilities
  • Advanced Excel Capabilities: High proficiency in complex financial/data modeling, formulas, pivot tables, and automated reporting.

  • ERP & Analytics Systems: Hands-on experience with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP) and retail analytics/POS platforms (e.g., Lowe’s Vendor Gateway, POS data aggregators).

  • Modern Business Intelligence: Working familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Databricks or SQL/Access database management for large dataset analysis is highly preferred.

Core Competencies
  • Seasonal Agility & Problem Solving: Strong capability to analyze high-volume retail POS data, forecast shifting weather/seasonal trends, and execute rapid root-cause solutions.

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and negotiate alignment across internal business units and external retail buying teams.

  • Ownership & Adaptability: High sense of accountability, detail orientation, and resilience in fast-paced operational environments with strict seasonal deadlines.
