Lead analyses measuring campaign impact, build tagging models (prompt engineering and ML), synthesize insights across programs, analyze experiments including RCTs, and produce presentations and post-campaign reports for internal teams and clients.
As a Senior Analyst at Vocal Media, you’ll play a critical role in helping us measure the impact of our campaigns and uncover insights that drive smarter decision-making. You’ll collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data across our influencer network and digital campaigns, supporting both internal teams and clients in understanding what works—and why. This is an excellent opportunity for an mid-career professional who excels at telling stories with data, and is passionate about social impact and digital culture. This position is fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Lead analyses that translate data findings into clear, actionable insights and contribute to post-campaign reports.
- Build and maintain tagging models using a mix of prompt engineering and traditional machine learning methods.
- Synthesize analysis and insights across programs to inform strategy for future campaigns.
- Contribute to research for organic social programs, including scoping and analyzing RCTs.
- Draft presentations of experimental learnings, and share findings across teams.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a data analyst.
- Strong SQL and Python skills. GCP / BigQuery experience and R skills are a plus.
- Experience building dashboards and reports with clear, beautiful data. visualizations to identify insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with social media metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and building machine learning models, including a focus on natural language processing.
- Experience working with political campaigns or social media marketing, and/or a passion for progressive causes.
