Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, control preparation, and delivery of financial reports to business partners.
- Support quarter-end close activities, including STAT reporting and serving as a liaison for audit requests.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency by reducing manual processes.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance and Actuarial teams to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in financial reporting.
- Support system enhancements and finance transformation initiatives, as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel with intermediate to advanced skills (e.g., lookups, SUMIFS, pivot tables).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or insurance.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and STAT reporting.
- Experience with large financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Excel4Apps).
- Prior experience supporting balance sheet accounts and/or STAT reporting.
- Experience with SQL.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
