Job Overview:

LPL Technology – Product Finance and Workforce Management serves as the financial conduit and consultative liaison between Technology – Product Finance Operations and Technology – Product leadership.  Labor tracking and forecasting are critical components in the accurate and efficient execution of Tech – Prd strategy and Finance and Workforce Management drives both proactive planning processes and ongoing daily maintenance of the workforce and resulting financials.  In the Finance and Workforce Management team, we focus on creating forecasts for capacity needs within all of Technology – Product and ensure staffing is aligned to those forecasts. The Senior Analyst works closely with project and scrum teams and reports directly to the VP, Technology Finance & Workforce Management.

This role supports the following EPMO service offerings:

  • Capacity Planning

  • Forecasting

  • Reporting

  • Budgets

  • Analytics

  • Governance of processes, standards, etc.

  • Financial Management

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis at the Product/ Strategy Level as well as the work item (Sub- Product / Shared Services) level to support Program Manager and Portfolio Manager

  • Facilitate Planview and documentation onboarding for the initiative and access requests within PMO, including training

  • Capacity Analysis (Over / Under allocations across teams)

  • PA & Program Manager/ Portfolio Manager weekly sync-up

  • Cost Saving Analysis

  • Manage the resourcing, Teams adjustment and full-scale Workforce Management process, including training managers on how to use the system(s), maintaining system access controls, and working to launch new features & functionalities. 

  • Govern approval workflows and authority requirements 

  • Create or partner to create value-add Workforce Management reporting 

  • Develop & produce reporting around all Workforce metrics 

  • Implement & provide admin support for Workforce Management software solutions as required. 

  • Ad hoc responsibilities that arise which will transform the business.  

  • Partner and support Financial Planning & Analysis and EPMO leadership with requested reconciliations, analyses and budget reviews

  • Facilitate Planview / Toolset documentation onboarding initiatives and access requests within EPMO

  • Make recommendations to improve artifacts and processes

  • Have the opportunity to collaborate with your peers and support strategic departmental projects.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in Workforce Management, Finance, Technology Finance, Data & Analytics (particularly in forecasting), or a related function. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 

Preferences:

  • Strong computer technical skills and proficient in Microsoft applications 

  • Effective communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills 

  • Knowledge of Tableau and PowerBI reporting 

  • General Project Management skills 

  • Passionate, driven, open to new opportunities, and positive attitude 

  • High level of motivation and initiative 

  • Ability to develop positive working relationships and works well in a team setting 

  • Experience managing requirement solution workshops

  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Aha!, Confluence or similar tool


 

Pay Range:

$80,325-$133,875/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
