- Provide analytical support for FTSE Russell’s flagship equity index franchises through trend analysis, competitor benchmarking, and product evaluation.
- Use tools like LSEG Workspace and internal databases to deliver actionable insights.
- Maintain and update client-facing collateral for major index series, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support product life cycle activities—from new product design to enhancements and decommissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement the product roadmap and ensure distribution coverage.
- Track key performance indicators and find opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent and 2–4 years of experience in index product management or financial markets.
- Solid understanding of global financial markets and index concepts such as market cap weighting, float adjustments, and methodology comparisons.
- Ability to perform index-related calculations such as returns, values, and constituent or industry weights, and transform the results into clear, client-ready visuals.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interpret and explain sophisticated data to internal and external collaborators with varying levels of sophistication.
- Ability to establish credibility and build strong, collaborative relationships across business and technology teams.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize optimally, lead multiple projects under tight deadlines, and identify and resolve potential issues early.
- Demonstrates curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Comfort working with large datasets and willingness to learn new tools and processes to improve efficiency.
