THE OPPORTUNITY

The CXO Value Economics team at Cyera partners with our field organization and executive stakeholders to demonstrate the tangible business value of Cyera’s platform. We translate technical outcomes into economic and strategic impact—empowering CISOs, CDOs, CIOs and CFOs to build business cases for secure data-led innovation.

We are seeking a Senior Analyst who combines financial acumen, strategic storytelling, and technical curiosity to create compelling Business Value Assessments (BVAs) and ROI frameworks. This individual will collaborate across Cyera’s sales, presales, and customer success teams to assess customer environments, quantify value drivers, and produce board-ready deliverables that elevate the conversation from features to financial impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with account teams to develop customized BVAs and ROI analyses anchored in customer priorities, industry benchmarks, and Cyera-specific value drivers.
  • Gather and analyze customer operational and financial data to model total cost of ownership (TCO), risk reduction, productivity gains, and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with sales engineers, solution architects, product teams and customer success to align value models with technical and business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain scalable value frameworks, assumptions libraries, and tools to accelerate BVA delivery across multiple regions and industries.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior executives, both internally and externally, with strong business judgment and executive presence.
  • Contribute thought leadership and best practices on how data security outcomes translate into business resilience, compliance posture, and risk-adjusted returns.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4–7 years of experience in management consulting, finance, value engineering, or strategic pre-sales roles within a SaaS or cybersecurity company.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and experience building ROI/TCO analyses.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with comfort engaging senior executives.
  • Understanding of data security, risk, or compliance environments (GRC, privacy, cloud security preferred).
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience working directly with CISOs, CIOs, or CFOs on technology investments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software value frameworks (e.g., Forrester TEI, Gartner Value Framework, or internally developed methodologies).

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.

  • Competitive salary
  • Unlimited PTO
