JOB PURPOSE
the Sr. Analyst of Corporate Finance works closely with senior management to increase a company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan
- Develop and maintain relevant reports and analyses to assist leadership of the Company in evaluating financial and operational performance.
- Work with Corporate department heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
- Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
- Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
- Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
- Utilizing BI tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance
- Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results
- Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost saving initiatives
- Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
- Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
- Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
- Provide insights to senior management around financial modeling, forecasts and profitability
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 3-5 Years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate accounting, or other analytical role
- Advanced MS Excel skills required
- Experience building financial models and creating presentations summarizing key outcomes and drivers
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of financial statements and the interconnectivity of the three primary financial statements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- General familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Occasionally, the employee is required to lift boxes up to 20 pounds.
SCHEDULING
This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
TRAVEL
Local travel is required. Out of state travel is limited, but may be required for special training/conferences.
