Senior Analyst, Compliance Services
At Mastercard, we are committed to protecting our network from being used to facilitate money laundering and terrorist financing. The Mastercard Transaction Services (MTS) Compliance Senior Analyst actively participates in a Shared Services support role. The senior analyst will perform tasks that support the team's Anti-Money Laundering activities. Working under general supervision, this role will require inputting, validating, and reporting information in tracking tools; perform customer monitoring activities, and other projects.
ROLE• Research and update key customer data points using various external and internal sources.• Performs data quality reviews of customer applications for Know Your Customer, AML program, and adequacy of Sanctions compliance program, including ensuring all appropriate information is identified to meet all program, regulatory, legal, and process requirements.• Complete name screening on individuals and entities matched against OFAC Sanctions Lists and adverse media.• Processes KYC/sanctions reviews to meet relevant SLA including follow-up analysis and reconciliation.• Reviews and analyzes due diligence reports for higher risk client types to determine appropriate risk rating.• Communicates directly with customers in multiple regions.• Accurately documents the review and investigation processes followed during customer onboarding, monitoring, and periodic reviews.• Other support functions as needed.

EXPERIENCE• Equivalent of a US Bachelor's or Associate's Degree, or 5+ years' experience in data entry, compliance, or financial services.• Compliance or Risk Management experience in the financial services industry preferred.• Professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFCS) preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/TECHNICAL SKILLS• Knowledge of MS Office products - Excel, Word and PowerPoint.• Demonstrated success with work requiring attention to detail and accuracy.• Knowledge of AML or payments-related industry experience is a plus.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES• Motivated self-starter with an appetite to learn and grow in a regulatory compliance function.• Follow procedures with limited supervision and follow-up, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and consistently meet established deadlines.
