The Role:

We are seeking a Senior AI Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building out the AI initiatives program from the ground up. You will be part of a focused team with the mission to evaluate and build prototypes/solution frameworks for various business requirements - these range from new product features/enhancements, engineering team excellence assisted by AI and other improvements by leveraging AI within the broader technology organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead design and execution of AI powered POCs/POTs and prototypes to validate strategic use cases, with a strong focus of measurable outcomes and technical scalability.

  • Partner cross-functionally with with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to define AI strategies and identify high-impact areas for innovation.

  • Build out frameworks or backend solutions to support AI workloads (APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure).

  • Utilize various LLMs (e.g OpenAI, Claude, LLaMA) or other ML techniques as relevant to build data processing routines, training and testing models. Monitor performance, quality of results and retrain models as required.

  • Identify and implement procedures for engineering excellence using AI assisted technologies (e.g. GitHub CoPilot)

  • Continuously evaluate and operationalize emerging AI/ML/GenAI techniques, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and standard-setting across teams aligned with best practices.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development (.NET or JAVA based technologies).

  • 2+ years hands-on experience building applications using LLMs (GPT, Claude, LLaMA etc) or GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex etc) and using RAG techniques to enhance LLMs.

  • Proven track record building and scaling high-transaction SaaS platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and security in mission-critical environments.

  • Experience leading, building, and deploying ML models or integrating LLMs into real-world applications.

  • Proven ability to leverage proprietary data for fine tuning, prompt orchestrations, search, retraining and monitoring model outputs.

  • Demonstrated experience in evaluating mode performance using thorough quantitative and qualitative benchmarks, including hallucination detection, latency and prompt quality.

  • Experience developing AI assisted solutions in the Healthcare industry along with awareness of ethical AI practices within healthcare industry, including data privacy and de-identification is a strong plus.

  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, backend development in a high transaction volume application.

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

  • Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven design, and serverless computing.

  • Expertise in database design with Relational and NoSQL Databases.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience working in agile/scrum methodology.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills; able to influence technical direction and articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

Compensation Range: $154K - $200K
