Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Adobe Commerce Developer to join our Production Support team. This role focuses on maintaining the stability, performance, and quality of Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) applications across high-traffic enterprise environments. You'll be responsible for investigating and resolving critical issues, collaborating with global teams, and ensuring continuous improvement through minor enhancements and optimizations.
Top 5 Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production incidents related to Adobe Commerce (EE/Cloud), backend or frontend.
- Monitor application health and performance using tools such as New Relic, Blackfire, and server logs.
- Provide timely resolution of bugs, performance issues, and third-party integration failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver hotfixes, minor enhancements, and patch updates.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective measures.
Additional Responsibilities
- Keep systems up-to-date with Magento security patches and recommended configurations.
- Contribute to automation of routine support tasks (e.g., cron jobs, alerts, log rotation).
- Participate in monthly on-call rotations (12/7 coverage) to support urgent production issues.
- Document support resolutions and share knowledge with the broader team.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce), including backend and/or frontend development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS/JS, and Magento’s architecture (DI, services, repositories).
- Proven track record of supporting high-availability Magento sites, with emphasis on debugging and optimization.
- Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs, caching (Redis, Varnish), and indexing (Elasticsearch).
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, and deployment processes in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Comfortable working in Agile teams and using support ticketing systems like Jira or ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Reliable, responsive, and calm under pressure — especially when resolving time-sensitive incidents.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Mirakl or other marketplace platforms.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or PWA frameworks (Vue Storefront, Adobe PWA Studio).
- Familiarity with server monitoring and log management tools.
- Experience in supporting projects in production.
