Senior Accounting Associate

North Hospitality - Remote

The primary focus of the Hospitality Accounting Associate is to efficiently support sales operations for all hospitality customers and North team members. In this role, you will be an integral piece of the North hospitality sales and billing operations ecosystem. Think outside the box to assist the Accounting Department to provide efficient procedures, multitask and assist other departments and help build processes and procedures. 

 What you'll do:

• Prepare spreadsheets, verify checks and process orders
• Daily check input and deposits as needed
• Assist Billing Operations Leadership on Monthly, Quarterly, Year End financial reporting
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct to appropriate team if needed
• Help customers with questions about their invoices or ACH payments etc
• Accept and process ACH and credit card payments from customers
• Maintain Accounts Receivable accounts and collecting on past due invoices
• Manage Oracle ordering and customer renewal service contracts with Oracle
• Assist in Salesforce processes and training
• Learn new software platforms as the business needs evolve and become more complex and diversified

What we need from you:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates in Business Administration/Accounting, or equivalent job experience.
• 2 years of work experience in a fast paced accounting department or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Office365/Google Workspace, Salesforce, Workday, Great Plains, and/or similar accounting systems.
• Ability to assist with all aspects of the billing process and procedures.
• Working knowledge and understanding of GL/PL practices.
• Experience in reconciling financial entries and making corrections as needed.
• Knowledge of purchasing practices, bookkeeping practices and general accounting.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• High attention to detail & accuracy. 
• Critical thinking and problem-solving experience. 
• Ability to succeed in a deadline driven environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible based on business needs.

Salary Range: $38,000 - 60,000

Pay within this range varies by work location and on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We look forward to discussing your salary expectations and our full total rewards offerings throughout the interview process.
