The Role

Provable is seeking an ambitious Senior Accountant to report directly to the Accounting Manager and play a central role in running the financial operations of the business. This is a hands-on position with broad ownership and visibility, ideal for someone who wants real responsibility and exposure beyond traditional accounting.

This role offers the opportunity to work across all aspects of finance and accounting, including corporate accounting, treasury, tax, technical accounting, and data management, while becoming deeply immersed in blockchain and crypto technology. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and excited to learn the financial nuances of a fast-growing Web3 company.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Accounting Manager with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow monitoring and reconciliations of both fiat and digital assets

  • Support the development, implementation, and improvement of accounting systems, processes, and tools to increase accuracy and efficiency

  • Collaborate with external auditors and advisors; assist with audit preparation and ongoing audit support

  • Help develop, monitor, and report on the company’s operating budget

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support key business decisions

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support internal and external reporting requirements

  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • CPA designation preferred but not required.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.

  • Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communicator with the ability to work well in a team.

  • Familiarity with blockchain, crypto, or fintech industries is a plus but not required.
