Intapp is looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our expanding Finance team in a high growth environment. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, this role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of global accounting by providing leadership and accounting expertise while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams 

 

What you will do: 

  • Provide expert accounting analysis in collaboration with product, engineering leadership, and Finance teams to comprehensively evaluate development activity and ensure compliance with ASC 350-40 for internal-use software. 

  • Prepare and review capitalization software workbooks along with related journal entries, coordinating closely with Engineering, FP&A, and relevant stakeholders to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting. 

  • Prepare and review consolidation of journal entries and intercompany eliminations. 

  • Support worldwide monthly financial close including preparing journal entries, accounts reconciliations and management reporting. 

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis to ensure resulting financial statement results accurately reflect business activity and are in accordance with US GAAP. 

  • Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures for SEC filing, ensuring accurate disclosure. 

  • Ensure and maintain related internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.  Actively engage in process improvements, including developing and maintaining Sarbanes Oxley controls. 

  • Collaborate with the other finance departments and business partners to provide ad hoc research, reporting, and projects. 

  • Prepare and manage external auditor deliverables closely with the external audit team regarding any quarterly review and annual audit requirements. 

  • Support various financial transformation projects including implementation of automation and process documentations 

 

What you will need: 

  • 4+ years of progressive experience at a high-growth SaaS company and/or public accounting firm. Combination of Big 4 and industry experience preferred. 

  • Licensed CPA is preferred. 

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and adhere to tight deadlines. 

  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Internal Control requirements 

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP is preferred, or other enterprise level financial software systems required. 

  • Effective communication skills, both within and across the accounting and finance teams, but also with business partners (FP&A, HR, Marketing, IT, Legal, and other business leaders). 

  • Strong problem solving, analytical, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. 

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and self-motivated. 

  • Possess a team player and team-focused attitude.
