We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with our accounts payable function, driving with month-end and financial statement analysis and preparation, and other functions, including payroll and Revenue Cycle Management duties, as assigned. The individual in this role will be a detail-oriented and transaction focused individual, as well as a critical thinker applying complex accounting guidance.

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and record complex journal entries, such as prepaid amortization, accrued expenses, and advanced intercompany journals.
- Record and reconcile revenue recognition and deferred revenue in accordance with ASC 606.
- Prepare Account Reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
- Perform variance analyses and provide insights into account detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements.
- Own the accounts payable cycle by maintaining vendor records, collecting and entering vendor invoices, submitting vendor invoices for payment, processing and reconciling corporate cards, and processing employee reimbursements.
- Lead annual 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC compliance reporting.
- Review client contracts and generate fixed fee and engagement-based invoices, and collect and apply client payments.
- Enter and reconcile patient financial transactions in our EMR system.
- Process payroll for both clinical and administrative staff, by ensuring accuracy and completeness of hours, earnings and deductions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations for all bank accounts in multiple entities.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business related field preferred; additional years of accounting experience can be substituted in lieu of degree
- The ability to shift and scale from transactional-level work into more complex analytical and project-based tasks
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including advanced Excel; experience using Excel for Mac a plus
- Experience with NetSuite or other accounting software
- Strong organizational, time management, communication and prioritization skills
- Ability to complete detail-oriented tasks within strict deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to be a team player, who can also work independently
- CPA preferred
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000
