Essential Duties:
Provide accounting expertise in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns (property, sales, income), and ensure an effective internal control environment.
Ensure compliance with technical accounting requirements with existing and new regulations, such as long term lease and derivative accounting.
Provide financial system maintenance, support of system upgrades and new system implementations.
Required Skills:
10+ years’ accounting experience conducting business with large financial and accounting systems.
Prefer accounting experience in a government-contracting environment and working knowledge of the compliance requirements in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). Familiarity with the various forms or revenue recognition, financial statement review, and long-term project accounting.
Excellent computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Excel, and financial systems and tools such as Deltek Costpoint and TM1.
Ability to independently create and accurately analyze cost data.
Ability to apply accounting principles as it relates to GAAP.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for executive communication.
Required Education:
CPA/CMA Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline
Master’s Degree Preferred

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $99,705 - $124,683 + bonus + benefits.
