  • Technical Depth: You bring in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting. You are experienced with researching accounting guidance and benchmarking against peers, and you can clearly articulate the themes and conclusions you’ve identified.

  • Project Management & Organization: You are able to independently manage multiple, concurrent workstreams and deliverables (such as audit requests, external filings, and ad hoc projects). You prioritize effectively in order to meet tight reporting deadlines.

  • Communication: You communicate clearly and proactively with your manager and business partners to ensure alignment on priorities and progress. You can adapt your communication style to different audiences and understand the importance of relationship-building for collaboration.

  • Growth Mindset: You're eager to learn new skills, tools, and subject matter. You quickly absorb complex information, adapt to shifting priorities, and tackle unfamiliar challenges with the support of your manager.

  • Oversee XBRL tagging process for all SEC filings.

  • Coordinate and support external reviews and audits, including preparation of audit schedules, providing sample support, and responding to auditor inquiries.

  • Perform and monitor key internal controls over financial reporting to ensure public company compliance.

  • Help prepare the monthly and quarterly fluctuation review packages for internal reviews and external auditors.

  • Assist in and/or lead ad hoc projects as necessary.
