Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Account Executive with experience selling complex fraud solutions to financial institutions. This role is ideal for a strategic seller who understands the fraud landscape and can translate that knowledge into actionable sales strategies that drive growth.

You'll identify opportunities, create tailored fraud solution strategies, and leading the sales cycle from prospecting to close. Your success will be measured by your ability to penetrate financial institutions, understand their fraud challenges, and deliver Experian's fraud solutions as mission-critical tools. You will report to the VP of Strategic Sales.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic sales: Sell Experian's fraud solutions to financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, and fintechs. Focus on high-value, complex deals that require deep solutioning and consultative selling.
  • Develop tailored strategies: Understand each institution's fraud challenges and regulatory pressures. Build customized solution roadmaps that align with their our goals.
  • Lead the sales cycle: Oversee the end-to-end sales process—from prospecting and qualification to solution design, negotiation, and close.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure alignment between client needs and Experian's capabilities.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Maintain knowledge of fraud trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to position Experian as a thought leader.

 

Qualifications

  • Sales success: 8+ years of experience selling complex fraud, identity, or risk management solutions to financial institutions.
  • Industry expertise: Experience with fraud risk management within financial services, including digital channels, payments, onboarding, and account management.
  • Consultative selling skills: Ability to uncover client pain points and craft compelling solution narratives that drive urgency and value.
  • Strong communicator: Experienced at presenting to executive audiences and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strategic mindset: Able to develop long-term account strategies and executing against them.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certifications in fraud/risk management.
  • Willingness to travel to support client engagement and sales efforts.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
