Senior Account Director
About the Role 

Qualified Digital is seeking a Senior Account Director, who will lead a portfolio of strategic client accounts, serving as a trusted advisor while driving account growth and long-term partnerships. They will combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to help clients achieve their business goals through innovative digital marketing solutions.

We're looking for someone who brings executive presence, strong business acumen, and a collaborative mindset. You'll build lasting client relationships, identify opportunities for growth, lead cross-functional teams, and help deliver exceptional work that drives results—for both our clients and Qualified Digital.

Position type: Full time (US based - preference for someone on the West Coast)

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Builds trusted client relationships by serving as a strategic advisor on their business objectives, digital strategy, and innovative solutions—with a focus on satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth.
  • Owns the growth and health of the account by establishing revenue and expansion goals, while driving client satisfaction, performance, and long-term value.
  • Gain deep expertise in clients' business goals and objectives to provide strategic guidance.
  • Serve as the “voice of the client” in internal discussions, ensuring their needs and priorities are represented.
  • Leads client-facing financial communications, proactively addressing budget updates, scope changes, and resourcing shifts. Partners with internal teams to develop solutions and ensures alignment with client expectations and contractual agreements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple senior client stakeholders across separate business units. Skilled at leading complex discussions, navigating competing priorities, and building alignment among diverse stakeholder groups to drive successful outcomes.

Strategic Leadership & Account Growth

  • Oversees, grows, and expands a book of key accounts, comprising $5-7M in revenue.
  • Drives the strategic direction of key growth accounts, developing proactive, innovative account plans that deliver fresh ideas and business growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify new opportunities for expansion, driving increased value and services.
  • Manage accurate pipeline reporting, ensuring clear visibility into opportunities and progress.
  • Oversees the client financial health and profitability, using insights to inform strategic recommendations.

Collaboration & Execution

  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external teams to move ideas from strategy and planning to execution, measurement, and optimization.
  • Develop high-quality briefs, presentations, statements of work, and other key materials to advance client initiatives.
Requirements
  • 8 years of applicable account/client service management experience with a proven track record of success in managing and growing client accounts. 
  • Healthcare Industry experience preferred (and/or experience in other highly regulated industries) preferred.
  • Strong digital expertise, with a bonus for technical knowledge in platform integrations, CMS execution, and digital ecosystems.
  • Experience owning full-service engagements for clients, including strategy, planning, digital initiatives, websites, apps, and media.  
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and actively contribute at all levels.
  • Strong team player who effectively collaborates and brings in the right people to execute projects successfully.
  • Strongly preferred experience using AI to transform marketing programs, improve efficiency, and unlock new opportunities for clients.

Applicants who’d like to be considered for a full-time position must be US based.

The target range of base compensation for this role is $160,000 - $180,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
