Join us as Senior Account Director and become the trusted partner to the world’s most impactful brands!We’re hiring a Senior Account Director to manage and grow relationships with some of the world’s most influential companies and help us expand across North America.
In this role, you'll own a portfolio of large enterprise clients – driving renewals, uncovering growth, and making sure every customer sees clear, measurable value from Goodstack.
This is a commercial role, but also a relationship one. You’ll be the main point of contact for senior executives at major global brands – the person they trust when they need direction, advice, or action.
As Senior Account Director at Goodstack, your mission will be to:
Own and grow major accounts: Manage a handful of big, global clients – the kind that expect structure, attention, and results.
Stay close to clients: You’ll meet them in person regularly across North America. Face time matters – it’s how real partnerships are built.
Be in control of your business: Stay across every renewal, forecast accurately, and handle challenges early.
Show clear impact: Run quarterly reviews that prove the value we bring – using data, results, and stories that matter to them.
Work well with others: You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Solutions, and Marketing – when clients raise something, you’ll help get it fixed fast.
Help us improve: We’re growing quickly. You’ll play a part in building the processes and routines that make the team better as we scale.
You’ve built trusted relationships across your portfolio.
You’ve identified 3–5 expansion opportunities with clear, quantified value.
Every stakeholder is mapped, and you have a plan for each.
Forecasts are accurate – no surprises.
You’re contributing to improving our playbooks, systems, and ways of working.
Experienced: A seasoned Account Manager or Senior AE with a strong record in a high-growth SaaS scale-up.
Structured: Skilled in proven sales methodologies (e.g. Challenger, SPICED, MEDDPICC) and disciplined in process.
Commercial: Thinks in numbers but builds relationships with empathy. Spots opportunity and knows how to expand enterprise accounts.
Trusted advisor: Clients rely on you for clarity and direction – when you call, they pick up.
Clear communicator: Direct, concise, and easy to follow. You simplify complex situations and don’t waste words.
Calm and confident: Thrives in a fast-paced environment. You stay composed, assert your view, and show respect in every interaction.
Ambitious: You want to earn well, progress fast, and help build something meaningful. You bring energy and a growth mindset every day.
Mobile: Willing to travel across North America every 4–6 weeks and to the UK around four times per year.
Ideal experience:
Around 10 years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Strategic Partnerships for enterprise SaaS.
Proven success managing and growing large, multi-stakeholder accounts.
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift and speed matters.
Track record of progression and achievement – ideally two or more promotions in past roles.
Based in the Central or Eastern time zone of North America.
Bonus if you have knowledge or love of:
The Impact, CSR, or philanthropy sector, and understanding of the competitive landscape.
Collaboration across global or distributed teams.
Helping shape or scale a CS function or playbook.
Helping purpose-led organizations scale their impact.
