Position Overview:

The Security Site Supervisor (SS) will perform onsite supervision of a group of guards or a specific sector or function of the guard program.


Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure all assigned guard posts are staffed, monitoring performance of assigned guard force personnel.
  • Ensure that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all post and general orders.

 

Required Qualifications:

All candidates must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be a U.S. citizen. 
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently.
  • Be able to pass the medical and physical requirements outlined in the contract. 
  • Meet all standards as required by the contract. 
  • Have a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
  • Obtain and hold a Secret Security Clearance. 
  • Preferred experience as a WPSIII/WPSII Site Supervisor (SS), Complex Supervisor (CS), Guard Shift Supervisor (GSS), and/or Guard Force Commander (GFC)
  • Must possess a minimum of six (6) years of experience as a military officer or NCO (at E-6 or above or equivalent), or equivalent law enforcement/armed commercial guard force supervisory experience.
    1. This experience must include physical security, defense, access control, and force protection.

All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical and physical examination, drug screen, and psychological examination. Additionally, all candidates will be required to complete a paid pre-deployment training course. 

 

Work Environment and Location:

Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.


Physical Demands:

The physical demands listed below, though not fully inclusive, are that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The employee is frequently required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
