Our team of shopping experts curates and hand-tests nearly a thousand deals per week, so there is always something new to discover each time you visit our website, app, and your inbox.

You may have noticed that our headquarters are in Boise, ID, but our workforce is fully remote in the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania,  South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin. All team-wide meetings are scheduled to be inclusive of U.S. time zones.

KCL seeks a talented Seasonal Commerce Deal Writer to join our team and contribute to our thriving content ecosystem.

This is a seasonal remote position lasting approximately six months. Team members will work 40 hours per week, typically including one weekend day and occasional evening shifts as needed to support peak demand. We are seeking 2–3 reliable and motivated individuals to join our team during our busiest season and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative work environment. In this role, you will:

  • Find the best sales from top-performing stores and on top-performing products for our readers.
  • Build deal posts in our CMS from start to finish, including utilization of graphic design tools (Canva) and affiliate link-building.
  • Write short posts on each deal, explaining what is on sale and how to get it for less.
  • Continually analyze deal performance and self-adjust pitches and writing for consistent growth.
  • Connect, support, and learn from the team remotely via Slack and Zoom meetings.

About you:

  • Education: BA or BS
  • Previous Experience: 2+ years of writing experience in a high-volume environment, with a background in creating commerce content for an online publication
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • A technology whiz who can learn new programs and processes quickly 
  • Proven experience in writing, editing, and self-publishing clean, clear, concise content
  • Fast and thorough 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Highly responsive to direction and open to feedback
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis

Physical Requirements:
