Forward-thinking experience with expertise in Generative AI to lead to the evolution of our test automation strategy. This role combines traditional automation leadership with cutting-edge AI capabilities to enhance test coverage, accelerate delivery, and improve software quality through intelligent automation. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications leveraging LLM models and systems, with a strong focus on prompt engineering, RAG implementations, evaluations, and agentic frameworks.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Java, Python and other relevant technologies
  • 4+ years of experience in Test Automation
  • 4+ years of experience in Software Development
  • 3+ years of experience in GenAI and ML concepts, including Evaluations, Fine Tuning and Prompt engineering
  • 2+ years of experience with SDLC and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence etc
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in automation using BDD and Selenium
  • Understanding of application development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Leading the design and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks
  • Integrating GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot) to generate, optimize, and maintain test scripts
  • Collaborating with engineering, QA, and product teams to embed AI-driven testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Mentoring automation engineers on AI-assisted testing practices and tools
  • Evaluate and implement AI/ML models to identify test gaps, predict defects, and improve test efficiency
  • Knowledge on Java 8 or later, spring boot, REST, Micro Services, Kafka, NoSQL
  • Prompt Engineering concepts such as Zero-Shot, Few-shot, self-consistency and chain of thought prompting
  • Knowledge in NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra)
  • Experience in DevOps - CI/CD tools
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal skills and trouble shooting skills in resolving technical problems
  • End to End knowledge on Payments ISO 20022 & US payments
