Modivcare is looking for an experienced SDET III to join our team. This position is responsible for developing software solutions to test applications and systems to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality.
This role…
- Develops and maintains automated test scripts and advanced frameworks to validate software functionality and performance across various platforms.
- Designs and implements test strategies for complex software applications using multiple testing types.
- Mentors junior team members on test automation, best practices, and methodologies.
- Oversees one or more testing platforms.
- Collaborates with software developers to identify and resolve defects.
- Participates in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
- Reviews system specifications and documentation to ensure testability and alignment with business requirements.
- Executes test cases (manual or automated), analyzes results, and identifies bugs.
- Tracks and manages software defects, performing regression testing as needed.
- Develops and applies testing processes for new and existing products.
- Partners with DevOps teams to automate testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Participates in evaluating new testing tools and technologies.
- Gathers system requirements from internal teams.
- Stays current with testing tools, strategies, and industry best practices.
- Coordinates with geographically distributed teams.
- May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.
We are interested in speaking with individuals with the following…
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Five (5) plus years of relevant experience.
- Proven work experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or a similar role.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Spock, Selenium, JUnit, Playwright
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Experience in mobile, API, and database testing is a plus.
- Background in the healthcare industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and software development processes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Ability to build and design automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing.
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers.
Salary: 97,200.00 - 133,700.00
