Scrum Master – Salesforce Federal Delivery

Location: Remote/Hybrid (US-based, DC Metro Area). In-person expectations include visits with customers, Salesforce offices, and to Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA.

Employment Type: This is a contingent role based upon a successful bid award.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Scrum Master to serve as the cornerstone of our federal practice. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives on the challenge of facilitating Agile sprints and driving delivery momentum within complex federal environments. You will have the autonomy to shape our delivery posture while working with the latest cloud technologies to support our most mission-critical customers.

In this role, you won’t just be following a checklist; you’ll be steering the velocity and architectural integrity of our solutions. You will be part of a team pioneering how Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud environments are delivered for federal agencies, ensuring our impact is felt across the entire brand.

Responsibilities:
  • Sprint Facilitation: Lead the design and implementation of Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, specifically tailored for Sales and Experience Cloud implementations to meet stringent federal requirements.
  • Delivery Momentum: Manage and oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, removing blockers to ensure CRM solutions remain audit-ready and on track.
  • Agile Governance: Drive the Agile process, coordinating with internal teams and federal stakeholders to navigate complex delivery assessments and ATO milestones.
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement advanced tracking and reporting tools to measure team velocity and momentum across Salesforce and AWS environments.
  • Mentorship: Provide Agile guidance and best practices to development and consulting teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Platform Expertise: Maintain and apply expert knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud capabilities to ensure sprints are aligned with platform best practices.

Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship Required, with ability and willingness to obtain security clearance(s).
  • 5-7+ years of experience facilitating Agile sprints and driving delivery momentum, with hands-on experience using automated project management and compliance platforms.
  • Significant experience with the Salesforce suite of products, with a primary focus on Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud, as well as Service Cloud and Agentforce.
  • Deep familiarity with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the federal ATO process as it relates to Agile delivery.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in managing large, complex Agile projects within federal frameworks.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to align technical delivery velocity with federal business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent; Salesforce certifications in Sales and Experience Cloud (Preferred).
