Job Description

Regulatory Affairs

  • Monitor new and updated Thailand regulatory requirements, scientific developments, and industry trends.
  • Communicate changes to internal stakeholders and adjust regulatory strategies accordingly.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare, review, and issue labelling specifications for local and export markets following company processes.
  • Conduct label compliance reviews, ensuring correct legal designations, claims, ingredient lists, and nutrition data.
  • Ensure proper implementation of graphic and techno-legal elements via CopyDeck and Syncforce.
  • Provide compositional and regulatory guidance to R&D, including acceptable ingredients and legal limits.
  • Review and approve raw materials, product specifications, recipes, allergens, nutrition data, and promotional materials to ensure compliance.

Regulatory Submissions

  • Support Supply Chain and Quality teams in preparing documents for product registrations, renewals, variations, and regulatory queries in line with Thailand requirements.

Training & Education

  • Deliver training and educational materials to enhance regulatory understanding and strengthen compliance culture across the organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with R&D, Packaging, D2P, Quality & Food Safety, Marketing, Legal, and the regional team to support compliance across multi-market projects and simplify ways of working.

Qualifications

University Graduate in Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent.

Must have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs within food industry of Thailand market, preferably coffee & tea industry.
  • Thorough understanding of Thai’s Regulatory Affairs requirements and processes related to food legislation.
  • Considerable understanding of nutrition science and food safety
  • Understanding of product development, ingredients, manufacturing and business processes.
  • Good articulation and networking with Thailand’s Local Industry Associations, Scientific Institutions and Government/Authority bodies

Competencies

  • Ability to manage and prioritize
  • Multiple time-constrained tasks
  • System acumen and IT skills.
  • Excellent communication in English and Thai with multilingual ability, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines (Project Management Skills).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
