Your role at a glance

This position is responsible for the administration, configuration, integration, and support of SAP Ariba within a broader SAP S/4HANA-driven Source-to-Pay (S2P) landscape. The role supports the end-to-end S2P lifecycle across sourcing, supplier onboarding, guided buying, purchasing, invoice processing, and payment enablement, with a focus on system stability, user experience, process optimization, and compliance. In addition to ensuring stable operations and high-quality user support for SAP Ariba, the position plays a key role in driving process standardization, system integration, and global rollout initiatives across procurement and finance functions.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on expertise in SAP Ariba with a strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and source-to-pay processes. The role requires the ability to operate across support and project environments, contributing to global template design, system enhancements, and transformation programs.

What we are looking for

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SAP ARIBA & APPLICATION SUPPORT

  • Administer and support SAP Ariba modules including Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, Buying, Invoicing, and Ariba Network.
  • Ensure stable system operations, including incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution of defects and integration issues.
  • Manage configurations, user access, roles, and system controls aligned with compliance and audit requirements.
  • Support supplier enablement and transaction monitoring across Ariba Network.

SAP S/4HANA & INTEGRATION

  • Support and optimize integration between SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, and related enterprise systems.
  • Work across procurement and finance touchpoints, including MM, FI, invoice processing, and business partner data.

PROJECTS & GLOBAL ROLLOUTS

  • Collaborate with integration teams on APIs, IDocs, middleware, and SAP Integration Suite (BTP CPI).
  • Contribute to global SAP S/4HANA and Source-to-Pay transformation initiatives, including template design and regional rollouts.
  • Participate in or lead workstreams for system enhancements, implementations, and process harmonization initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute testing activities (unit, integration, UAT), release management, and deployment support.
  • Partner with system integrators, managed service providers, and external vendors as required.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP

  • Analyze business requirements across procurement and finance functions and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a key interface between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with global process strategies.
  • Drive user adoption through improvements in usability, training, and documentation

GOVERNANCE & DOCUMENTATION

  • Maintain system documentation, process flows, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to IT service management practices (incident, change, problem, release management).
  • Support audit readiness and compliance with internal controls.

KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

  • Knowledge of source-to-pay processes, including sourcing, supplier onboarding, requisitioning, purchasing, invoice processing, and payment enablement.
  • Strong understanding of the business impact of procurement and finance system changes, including controls, compliance, and downstream operational effects.
  • Experience designing, documenting, and supporting integrations between SAP Ariba, Ariba Network, SAP S/4HANA, and related enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of IT service management practices for enterprise applications, including incident, problem, change, release, and access management.
  • Advanced analytical skills with creative problem-solving thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
  • Transformative thinking to ensure delivery of business requirements.
  • Advanced understanding of enterprise application landscapes, data flows, security roles, testing methods, and technical troubleshooting in SAP environments.
  • Aptitude to establish and manage processes through collaboration across departments and applications.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 10 to 12 years of professional experience in the SAP environment, ideally ranging up to 1 years
  • SAP certifications / SAP S4HANA are a plus

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • 5–10+ years of experience in SAP environments, with a strong focus on SAP Ariba.
  • Hands-on experience supporting end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes:
  • Requisitioning, approvals, purchasing, goods receipt
  • Invoice processing, reconciliation, and payment enablement
  • Experience with SAP Ariba modules such as Buying, Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, or Ariba Network.

SAP S/4HANA & INTEGRATION

  • Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA procurement and finance processes (MM, FI).
  • Experience working in S/4HANA environments (implementation, migration, or support) is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with integration technologies (API, IDoc, BAPI, middleware, BTP Integration Suite).

PROJECT & DELIVERY EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in IT projects, including implementations, rollouts, or major enhancements.
  • Ability to manage tasks, timelines, and stakeholders in structured project environments (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall).
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, system integrators, or external partners.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and IT.
  • Ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Willingness to expand beyond SAP Ariba into broader SAP and finance domains.
  • The ideal candidate is a proactive and solution-oriented professional who combines deep SAP Ariba expertise with a broader interest in SAP S/4HANA and finance transformation.
  • They are comfortable balancing operational support with project delivery, navigating complex global environments, and continuously expanding their functional and technical skill set.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.
  • Able to hear and speak on the telephone.
  • Close visual work on a computer terminal.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.

WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is expected to be remote with occasional need to be on-site in a shared workspace.
  • Work is expected to be performed during US business hours, with flexibility to meet with co-workers across the globe.  
  • Some Travel may be required.
  • Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection

Compensation Pay Range

For roles residing in the US, we share pay and benefit levels to support pay transparency requirements.  For other countries, we are more than happy to share our competitive pay and benefit levels during the interview process.

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $124,400 - $177,700.

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
