New Western is seeking a Technical Lead with deep Salesforce expertise to guide the future of our Agent Journey platforms. You’ll work at the intersection of hands-on Salesforce development, architectural leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Our ecosystem centers on Salesforce (leveraging Propertybase), where you’ll shape scalable, secure, high-performing solutions. Beyond Salesforce, you’ll have opportunities to expand into AWS services, APIs, and event-driven architectures—helping us evolve how agents and investors connect.
You’ll partner closely with Product, Architects, and the CTO to align technology with business needs while mentoring external and internal Salesforce developers. This is a high-impact, career-expanding role for a Salesforce engineer eager to take on broader cloud and platform ownership.

What You'll Do:
- Build and scale Salesforce solutions with Apex, LWC, Flow, and integrations
- Lead and mentor external Salesforce vendors and partners, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery
- Manage integrations between Salesforce, AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB), and BI platforms
- Strengthen observability with logging, monitoring, and alerting (DataDog)
- Champion engineering excellence: secure coding, peer reviews, test automation, and CI/CDGuide our transition from offshore support to a strong in-house engineering capability
- Partner with Product, Marketplace, and BI to align technical execution with business needs
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Strong skills in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flow, and declarative tools
- Solid grasp of Salesforce architecture, scalability, and modular design
- Experience leading Salesforce projects and mentoring developers or directing vendors
- Familiarity with modern programming (TypeScript, Python, or Go)Exposure to AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, AppSync)
- Awareness of event-driven and microservices patterns
- Willingness to expand Salesforce skills into broader cloud and platform ownership
- Ability to align execution with Product, BI, and Marketplace stakeholders
- Skilled at balancing speed, quality, and long-term stability
- Experience leading distributed or vendor teams through mentorship and reviews
- Comfortable with observability practices (DataDog or equivalent)
