Job Description:
This is a new position to manage, support and enhance HM’s Salesforce based grants management systems. This position assists Hazard Mitigation with system administration for several Salesforce based applications.
Duties:
- Duties include collecting user requirements from end users on IT applications, supporting end users with Salesforce access and providing technical support.
- This position works closely with the programmers on the application development team and helps translate end user requests into meaningful work objectives. Position also helps test new applications to find bugs, issues and other problems.
- This position is responsible for documenting routines and creating Standard Operating Procedures. The primary purpose of this position is to assist EM’ Applications Team with programming, web design, system administration, application development and related duties. This work is done using a cloud-based Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and web development best practices
- Participate in technical design of Salesforce Experience Cloud features
- Write technical solution documentation detailing technical approach and how it achieves the business objectives Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed
Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator certification required
- Platform Developer I certification is strongly preferred and JavaScript certifications a plus
- Experience (Community) Cloud expert with 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Responsive Design web development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Bootstrap is a plus.
- Estimate the level of effort to implement a solution based on business and technical requirements.
- Lead technical design sessions, designing and documenting technical solutions that are aligned with the client’s business objectives and advise on technical bet practices related to solution design.
- Knowledge of modern Salesforce DevOps best practices.
- Coach and mentor junior technical team members.
- 5+ years of Salesforce platform experience, including extensive Apex and JavaScript development.
