Lightedge is seeking a motivated and collaborative Salesforce Developer (Junior Level) to join our growing Salesforce team. This role will support the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions that enable our sales and marketing teams to operate efficiently and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who takes initiative, collaborates with peers, and seeks to understand the “why” behind business processes. This individual won’t just take direction—they’ll actively participate in platform decisions, help minimize technical debt, and contribute to Lightedge’s mission of enabling our teams to meet business goals through technology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Salesforce components, including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and APIs.
- Collaborate with the Platform Owner and Administrator to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.
- Assist with system integrations across platforms---Boomi iPaaS (experience or willingness to learn Boomi is a plus).
- Develop and maintain Apex test classes to ensure code quality, reliability, and adherence to Salesforce best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging and deployment processes to ensure stable, reliable releases.
- Support the ongoing improvement of CI/CD and DevOps practices within the Salesforce environment.
- Contribute to documentation, design specifications, and release notes.
- Work closely with business users to understand needs and propose effective technical solutions.
- Identify and suggest ways to improve platform performance, data quality, and user experience.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices, continuously developing technical and professional skills.
Experience:
- Approximately 3 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform.
- Strong understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and API integrations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce development lifecycle and deployment tools (e.g., sandboxes, change sets, DevOps pipelines using Gearset or similar tools).
- Experience with or interest in Boomi or other integration platforms preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams to deliver value and minimize technical debt.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
