Niyam is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team in support of our work with a federal client. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.  This position is remote, but may require occasional onsite meetings in DC.

 

Role and Responsibilities

    • Manage all aspects of Salesforce.com (SFDC) including complex configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations
    • Participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment
    • Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation
    • Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform
    • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.
    • Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts
    • Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance

    Qualification and Education Requirements

    Required Skills

    • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related equivalent 
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
    • Salesforce Certified App Builder
    • 3+ years of relevance Salesforce experience with Service Cloud
    • 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Development including declarative development, Custom Objects, Flows, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and developing custom Lightning components
    • 3+ years of experience with web technologies (HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript)
    • 2+ years of experience with OO analysis and design experience
    • Experience working in Agile environment
    • Experience using tools like JIRA, Git, Subversion
    • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Familiarity with Software development life cycle (SDLC)
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate key performance indicators to all levels of the company
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II 
    • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator 
    • Experience working with federal clients a plus
