About the Role 

Our team needs an ambitious, self-starting Salesforce Managed Services Consultant with excellent time management and communication skills interested in building a successful Managed Services team.


This position will collaborate with our customers to troubleshoot, remediate, provide iterative value-added enhancements, and develop custom software solutions on the Salesforce platform using integration tools, Apex, Visualforce, and lightning code. 


The Salesforce Managed Services Consultant is a pivotal individual contributor member of the Neocol team. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Global Managed Services, the Salesforce CPQ Consultant will deliver and integrate enterprise-level software deployed within the context of larger technical solutions. S/he will leverage strong communication and relationship building skills to identify requirements, craft solutions, and secure client approval.

Advising the world’s most innovative B2B organizations on how to optimize their subscription & billing management and billing processes to gain competitive advantage, promote cross-functional transparency, and provide a superior customer experience.

Day to day responsibilities

  • Meeting with customers to understand their challenges, pull out their requirements, solution, and implement the fix
  • Working directly with Managed Service Tech Leads collaborating on solutions
  • Successfully design solutions that solve our customers challenges or requests
  • Leverage superior communication skills to connect with our customers
  • Possess experience writing Unit Tests, Smoke Testing, and Issue Resolution
  • Be deeply invested in learning and deepening your skillset across the Salesforce platform becoming expert in the product set that Neocol implements for our customers (we cover certification costs and give raises for certifications!)

Skills and Experience Required for the role

  • You’re a self-starter with experience matching user requirements to CPQ, Billing & Salesforce solutions.
  • You should be highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize while simultaneously working both collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Ability to understand varying client needs and respond flexibly and creatively, working with internal resources to recommend and implement the highest ROI for our clients
  • Work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical resources.
  • You are very comfortable analyzing data and identifying opportunities to drive meaningful standardization of data and processes regionally and/or globally.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.
  • You are agile and can work well in environments where objectives and priorities are reviewed and assessed regularly.
  • At least two years’ experience implementing Salesforce CPQ, as well as cross functional experience in Salesforce Sales & Service Clouds. Salesforce Billing experience is also preferred.
  • Experience in at least three medium to large-scale full-lifecycle Salesforce CPQ implementations
  • High degree of familiarity with declarative process automations as the platform shifts towards flows.
  • Salesforce CPQ Certification and both Billing Super Badges strongly preferred. SFDC Administrator or App Builder Certifications are a plus, but not required.
  • Experience using Jira, Slack, Google Workspace & Lucidchart
  • Knowledgeable about the following is a plus: Revenue Cloud, B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, Mulesoft, Tableau/CRM, RightRev, NetSuite/ARM
