About the Role

This role is responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining our Salesforce instance. The main business systems you will be working in are Salesforce, our product backend databases, and occasionally providing Salesforce technical requirements to Workato and Netsuite. Experience with CPQ, Quote to Cash, Netsuite, and Snowflake is strongly desired. You will be working closely with Business Systems team members, Team Leads, Project Managers and internal users.

Your Area of Focus

  • Design scalable Salesforce architecture, data models, and integrations across Salesforce CPQ, NetSuite, Gainsight, Workato, and Zone Advanced Billing
  • Implement CPQ best practices to ensure efficient quoting and understand subscription data’s downstream impact on an enterprise billing system
  • Create solutions for identity and access management, data and process integrations, and account for large data volumes and privacy needs
  • Identify optimal solutions for requirements and recommend using clicks, code, or a combination of both depending on the use case
  • Lead and collaborate on solution design, requirements gathering, project execution, and stakeholder alignment
  • Implement declarative Salesforce changes through flows, permission sets, and more
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Develop or enhance custom objects, VisualForce pages, APEX classes, triggers, Apex batch processes, Apex Web services and APIs, Test Coverage classes, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in requirement and design sessions to develop scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce bugs.
  • Follow Software Development methodology and contribute to the SDLC requirements.

Your Professional Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, solution design, and development within mid-to-large-scale organizations.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, including end-to-end implementation.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with enterprise ERP systems such as NetSuite or Zone Advanced Billing.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts with proficiency in SQL for data manipulation. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Someone who is inquisitive, has attention to detail, and a desire to implement best practice solutions.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and facilitation skills.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative, capacity to mentor junior team members remotely (preferred).
  • Salesforce CPQ certification, Salesforce Solution Architect certification, and Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (preferred).

Remote Pay Range

$125,000$135,000 USD
