The Salesforce Administrator for Marketing Cloud supports the configuration, maintenance, and daily operation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related Salesforce platform components. This role helps ensure reliable marketing automation, accurate data flows, and user-friendly configurations supporting campaigns and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Marketing Cloud components such as automations, email journeys, data extensions, and templates.
- Support day-to-day Salesforce administration tasks across Marketing Cloud and core platform clouds.
- Assist with user setup, permissions, security configurations, and data governance.
- Support integrations with external systems and ETL tools under senior oversight.
- Perform routine data management, deduplication, and quality checks.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, documenting resolutions and working with vendors when needed.
- Create or update reports, dashboards, and analytics to support marketing operations.
- Participate in platform testing, validation, and change management activities.
- Maintain system documentation and support user training as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of Salesforce administration experience; Marketing Cloud experience preferred.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of email automation, segmentation, and customer engagement workflows.
- Experience with SQL, SOQL, and data management tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to learn quickly, and comfort in fast-paced environments.
