Sales Training Content Developer

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and update engaging training materials, including e-learning modules, videos, instructional guides, and multimedia content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements and objectives.
  • Utilize instructional design principles to create effective and interactive learning experiences. This includes development of content that is adaptable for all learning styles and considers accessibility.
  • Evaluate and revise training materials based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
  • Develops storyboards based on needs assessments and gains alignment with stakeholders on relevance and accuracy of content
  • Develops and manages learning development projects in terms of time, budget and resources.
  • Establishes learning measurement tools that help to define achievement of learning KPIs
  • Establishes content maintenance plan to ensure materials stay relevant and are updated when there are identifies changes

Additional duties may be assigned, as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in training content development or instructional design.
  • Experience in the electrical and/or utility industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia or similar) and Cornerstone Learning Management System.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and stay focused in an environment with changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
