The role of Sales Strategy & Enablement Manager is a blend of leadership, strategic analytical thinking, and relationship building . This role will be directly responsible for managing the tools and support functions essential to reporting the effectiveness of all functional areas of sales performance management across all of Cox Automotive and ultimately act as the guardrail for how we evaluate and improve internal best practices. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities within the sales organization are supported.
In this role you will be responsible for owning compensation & performance data, developing compelling and visually appealing presentations, and communicating with various stakeholders and senior leaders to support business objectives. You will be accountable to determine appropriate compensation outcomes in tandem with performance. This role requires someone with an enterprise mindset that is willing to analyze and recommend improvements to improve the Sales & PM organization.
You will report to the Sr. Manager of Sales Performance Strategy and partner with senior sales leaders, the Sales Business Office (SBO), and Finance. You will aid the Sr. Manager of Sales Performance Strategy in leveraging analytics to aid in compensation design. You will work with members of the comp analytics team to aggregate information and provide recommendations for improvements.

What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a compensation analytics strategy in the sales operation's organization that strives to exceed expectations and consistently deliver optimal service and support to partners within Cox Automotive sales operations.
- Champion change and culture across sales operations and promote the same with executive partners in sales and across all of Cox Automotive in general.
- Provide leadership to ensure focus, alignment, and execution of high-priority opportunities through management of quota, performance improvement, and advanced analytics for sales and performance management.
- Work closely with other executives to develop and implement the Cox Automotive quota and performance improvement strategy.
- Evaluate sales team member performance along with the effectiveness of quota setting, compensation plan design, and the financial expectations set for the organization.
- Make quantifiable recommendations by analyzing data assets, industry insights, and best practices to enable the sales team to achieve its goals and objectives.
- Facilitate/Drive Sales strategy and planning regarding quota and targets, annual planning for budget purposes, performance management related to accountability and development for the sales organization, and analytics to support strategic decision-making for the senior sales leaders of Cox Automotive.
- Partner with sales leaders and finance to build and manage a standard way of distributing effective quotas across 6 standard job profiles and multiple sales teams.
- Partner with senior leaders to develop sales strategy, develop and improve sales coverage and organization strategy, have objective insight into sales productivity, and recommend strategic improvement in support of a channel business model.
- Synthesize data, gaps, and actions for sales leaders.
- Manage consistent review discussions to provide adequate visibility into how our sales plans, territories, and leadership impact the success of the organization.
- Develop and deliver a robust reporting suite that provides consistent visibility into the performance of compensation plans, territory effectiveness, and overall leadership effectiveness.

Who You Are
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Finance, Mathematics, Economics, etc.) and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
- Experience in communication with executive sales leaders and boundary partners.
- Must be able to cultivate exceptional partnerships across multi-layered organizations with executives throughout the company at various levels.
- Proven experience gathering and translating feedback into actionable items to address the needs across departments or business units.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
- Ability to multi-task and keep numerous projects on track
Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with business visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience gathering data from Snowflake
USD 99,000.00 - 165,000.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
