We’re looking for a Sales Solutions Engineer to drive Paymentology’s technical and commercial success by delivering market-fit, client-aligned solutions. This role is critical to new client acquisition and existing client growth, combining deep technical expertise, regional market knowledge, and strong pre-sales capability to design scalable solutions and support long-term client success.
What it takes to succeed:
- Strong technical acumen with experience in solution architecture, integrations, and API-based platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in technical pre-sales, including discovery sessions, RFP responses, and proposal development.
- Deep understanding of regional compliance and market requirements within financial technology.
- Ability to balance standardisation and customisation to deliver scalable, repeatable solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to capability gap analysis.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, or solution architecture, ideally within fintech or payments.
