First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

Talent Acquisition is playing a critical role in fuelling Mews’ ambitions by attracting and building the teams we need to succeed. As a Senior Recruiter in the USA you will be the first Recruiting hire in the US to support the expansion of our central Sales City, Dallas. You will be the key point of contact for our US sales team leading their expansion in Dallas and across the US.

You will be part of our business partnering layer with responsibilities to own delivery to a department or group of teams. You will be accountable for delivering that world class service that we aspire for, managing those stakeholders, ensuring we act in a fiscally responsible manner and delivery is in line with demand. You will be engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from our C-Suite to our Manager layer. 
 
Your growth and development is a priority. To progress and flourish in the team, you should be working with your manager on self-development items, contributing to work in our project roadmap and be eager to learn about the business partnership we do in the team.

Business Partnering  

  1. Able to work with autonomy and own the relationship with a group of senior stakeholders (VP and above leaders) or an entire function. This goes beyond purely reactive recruiting - you are an advisor and enabler of their strategy and vision.  

  2. You have the competency and ambition to educate and level up your stakeholders on items that could prevent us becoming a world class recruiting function. 

  3. Form a relationship with FP&A teams and business stakeholders to effectively manage future hiring.  

  4. You become a trusted team mate to the People Business Partner, sharing the responsibility to solve problems with your shared stakeholder group and supporting each other.  

Technical Competence  

  1. You are comfortable using data and leveraging it to create compelling reasons for your stakeholders to build and maintain positive behaviours.  

  2. You have a high level of competence sourcing your own data from various sources (HRIS/LinkedIn/ATS) and using it to learn and optimise how you recruit. 

  3. Able to build structured hiring processes with hiring teams that lead to impactful hires and healthy teams. 

  4. Comfortable developing recruiting strategies for complex roles and executing against that. 

  5. You are versatile and able to support other team members or pod mates if demand spikes in their area.  

  6. Able to create content that can be shared externally to support our hiring goals and positively impact our employer brand.

Delivery  

Hiring performance is in line with team expectations: 

  1. G&A & GTM - 50 roles closer per year 

  2. Contribute and ensure progress is made towards focus areas and sub metrics within TA. 

🤝 You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology recruitment function, managing the end-to-end recruitment process for 8-12 roles across Go-To-Market roles (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing) in the US.
  • Deep knowledge of the US SaaS or Fintech Sales hiring practices, ideally with a good network in Dallas. 
  • Clear opinions about best practice and a network of sources that you can use to level up your knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability engaging with and attracting passive candidates via sourcing on LinkedIn and other platforms. Proactively build diverse pipelines of candidates for current and future hiring needs and understand what sourcing approach is the best to achieve our goals.   
  • High-touch philosophy with applicants, candidates, referrals and employees to ensure everyone involved with the hiring process has an excellent experience regardless of the outcome.  
  • Comfortable managing recruiting projects, identifying & creating process improvements, building talent pipelines, and achieving our OKRs.   
  • Comfortable coaching and giving feedback to peers.
  • Comfortable using reporting features within an ATS to drive insights with your stakeholder group.
  • You are a curious, data-driven problem solver who will happily share feedback and ideas with others.  
  • You understand how to prioritise your workload and can communicate when you need support or guidance. 
  • Based in the Dallas with an ability to operate with a high level of autonomy

- Successful responses will then meet the Hiring Manager the W/C 23rd June 

The referenced salary range is based on Mews' good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, and skill level as determined during the interview process.

Commissions are in addition to the advertised salary range and are determined based on employee performance.
