About this Position

The Sales Operations Manager is a key leader responsible for optimizing sales processes, managing sales and partner commissions, driving data-driven decision-making, and ensuring operational efficiency within the sales organization. This individual will be the process owner for the entire sales and partner commissions process, from plan definition and communication to bi-monthly execution, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with business objectives.


This role requires a strategic, analytical, and collaborative leader who can work across departments to enhance sales performance, streamline workflows, and implement technology-driven solutions. As a trusted partner to sales leadership, this individual will leverage data, automation, and AI to drive revenue growth, improve forecasting accuracy, and ensure sales teams have the tools and insights they need to succeed.


Job Responsibilities

Sales & Partner Commissions Management

  • Own and manage the entire sales and partner commissions process, from plan definition and communication through bi-monthly execution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely commission calculations in alignment with company policies and incentive structures.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales leadership, and operations to define, refine, and optimize commission structures.
  • Communicate commission plans and updates effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity.
  • Monitor and improve commission processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure compliance.


Sales Process Optimization & Revenue Operations

  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks in the sales process and develop solutions to improve sales productivity.
  • Standardize, document, and enhance sales workflows, proactive sales activity management, and proposal development.
  • Implement AI and automation technologies to streamline sales operations, reduce administrative burden, and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Support forecasting, quota setting, and activity management to optimize sales team performance.
  • Drive CRM optimization and automation to ensure data accuracy and improve visibility.


Sales Analytics, KPI Management & Reporting

  • Develop and manage sales performance dashboards and KPI tracking to provide real-time insights to leadership.
  • Use Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to create clear and actionable sales reports.
  • Deliver regular reports and presentations to senior leadership, providing insights into sales performance, trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Identify trends and opportunities through data analysis to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary data steward for sales, ensuring that teams can access the insights they need to make informed decisions.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Sales Enablement

  • Act as a bridge between sales, finance, marketing, and operations, ensuring alignment on sales goals and execution strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with sales leadership, account executives, and partner teams to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
  • Ensure seamless communication and issue resolution across sales and operational teams.
  • Champion a customer-service-oriented approach within the sales operations function to support sales teams effectively.


Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or business operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with at least 3 year managing commissions processes.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and a very detail oriented mindset.
  • Ability to craft SQL queries to extract data from backend database tables.
  • Proven ability to own and improve complex business processes, including end-to-end commission management.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate competing priorities and ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering measurable outcomes, including cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Experience optimizing and managing CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and sales enablement tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track metrics and create actionable reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience driving data-driven decision-making in sales organizations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance analysis.
  • Experience implementing AI, automation, and workflow optimization tools for sales efficiency is a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, sales operations, or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $100,000 to $120,000.

This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
