As a leading water technology company with 23,000 employees operating in over 150 countries, Xylem is at the forefront of addressing the world's most critical water challenges. We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.

The Role:

As the Sales Operations & Business Intelligence Analyst – Growth Execution (Americas), you will power the analytical engine behind Xylem’s growth and transformation strategy. Sitting at the intersection of sales operations, commercial strategy, and data intelligence, this role transforms complex business data into clear, executive‑ready insights that improve forecast accuracy, strengthen sales discipline, and accelerate growth execution.

You will partner closely with Sales leadership, Growth and Continuous Improvement (CI) teams, and country leaders across the Americas to elevate data quality, modernize reporting, and enable faster, more disciplined, data‑driven decision‑making.

This role is ideal for someone who is anticipatory, business‑immersed, and proactive—someone who seeks to identify risks and opportunities before they appear in standard metrics and who is eager to deeply understand how the business operates.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Analyze commercial and transformation data to identify performance gaps, early‑warning risks, and growth opportunities

  • Strengthen forecasting accuracy and pipeline visibility through Salesforce reporting, CRM data governance, and improved data discipline

  • Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards supporting performance reviews, strategic initiatives, and transformation execution

  • Conduct deep‑dive analyses on bookings, revenue, margin, backlog, funnel health, and project profitability

  • Prepare executive‑ready presentations and data visualizations for regional and country leadership reviews

  • Collaborate with Growth, CI, Sales, and country leaders to support transformation workshops, execution tracking, and follow‑through

  • Drive reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve insight quality

  • Support adjacent analytical missions including inventory turnover, funnel reviews, channel performance, and execution effectiveness

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a trusted business partner to Sales, Finance, Inside Sales, Operations, Channel Strategy, Growth, and CI teams

  • Present structured, actionable insights to regional and country leadership, supporting strategic and operational decision‑making

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field

  • 4–8 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analytics, or transformation support within a B2B or industrial environment

  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development and data modeling

  • Advanced experience using Salesforce and CRM‑driven sales processes

  • Proven ability to structure, analyze, and interpret complex datasets

  • Experience supporting forecasting, performance management, and commercial review cycles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, and additional BI or analytics tools

  • Familiarity with Lean / Continuous Improvement frameworks (e.g., Bowler charts, X‑matrix, A3s, TLIP, GDP)*

  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and multi‑source data environments

  • Interest in AI tools, advanced analytics, and reporting automation

*Lean terminology will be explained during onboarding; prior exposure is helpful but not required.

Core Competencies

  • Anticipatory, business‑immersed mindset with the discipline to recognize early performance signals and translate insight into action

  • Strong commercial acumen, including understanding of revenue, margin, backlog, and funnel performance drivers

  • Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, executive‑ready insights

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills

  • High‑ownership mindset with curiosity, energy, and a continuous improvement orientation

  • Collaborative, structured, and growth‑oriented working style

Impact of the Role

In this role, you directly strengthen forecast accuracy, sales discipline, and growth execution across the Americas. You will modernize commercial reporting capabilities and influence how performance is measured, managed, and accelerated—playing a visible role in delivering Xylem’s growth and transformation strategy.

Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use. Our products impact public utilities, industrial sectors, residential areas, and commercial buildings, with a commitment to providing smart metering, network technologies, and advanced analytics for water, electric, and gas utilities. Partner with us in creating a world where water challenges are met with ingenuity and dedication; where we recognize the power of inclusion and belonging in driving innovation and allowing us to compete more effectively around the world.

At Xylem, you'll not only contribute to solving water issues but also have the chance to make a difference through our paid Volunteer Program, Xylem Watermark. We prioritize our employees' well-being through inclusion and belonging as well as our Employee Resource Groups (ERG). Proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity (including disability and veterans) and Affirmative Action workplace, Xylem fosters an inclusive environment free from discrimination or harassment.
