Position/Job Description:

The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for providing support to the sales organization in its day-to-day business operations and will lead the implementation of standardized operating processes across key internal stakeholders.  The role will create and manage efficient processes, optimize communication, develop CRM and reporting tools, and facilitate cost management.  Additionally, the Sales Operations Analyst will serve as a conduit through which information flows cross-functionally and therefore supports the overall business of the business unit and global division. It will require close co-operation with Sales, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Category, Finance, as well as Logistics to meet the business unit targets regarding growth and profitability.

What You Need to Know:

  • Manages the Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) and Internet Policy documentation including communication to internal stakeholders and compliance with external customers
  • Report and provide insight to support the decision-making and strategic planning of the Sales Team
  • Report and analyze revenues and revenue-related metrics to assist management in making sound decisions
  • Coordinate and support the set up of all new accounts
  • Work with A/R Team to bridge and coordinate field support as needed.  Analyze credit lines and make recommendations as needed to Finance Team.
  • Analyze data and provide important visualization and dashboards that clearly communicates complex data in a simple form to non-technical audiences
  • Consistently seek ways to implement and simplify sales processes
  • Collaborate with IT/GIS to manage and ensure an effective CRM system that adds value.  Provide, track, and communicate enhancement recommendations, adoption, and system utilization.
  • Oversee CRM and product inventory reporting for leadership and sales team
  • Oversee order status to resolve issues that will accelerate shipping of products
  • Coordinate demand forecasting with Finance, Demand Planner, and Sales Team
  • Work together with sales team and leadership to implement sales plans
  • Provide marketing team operational and tactical support to bridge marketing plans with field sales execution.
  • Supervise client quarterly deliverables content for Key Account Team
  • Works cross-functionally to structure, evaluate and enforce compliance documentation including but not limited to accounts receivable deductions, pricing execution, distribution requirements and legal oversight
  • Assists internal operations with annual preparedness including robust and defined policy documentation, milestones required for execution and feedback loop to ensure efficiencies 

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 1-3 business analytics / supply chain experience

• Intermediate level skill with Microsoft Suite & Power BI and consolidation of data from multiple sources, with ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret large sets of data (Intermediate)

• Highly developed project management skills (i.e. initiating, execute and follow-up projects)

• Depth and breadth of experience with customer channels, product mix and brand strategy

• Strong influencing skills, ability to influence without authority

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to organize data in a way that is understood and can lead to improved decision making

• Strong accountability and problem solving capability

• Able to manage day to day demands while also creating and executing to long term strategy
