About Us:

Fieldguide is establishing a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets through automating and streamlining the work of advisory, audit, and tax practitioners at the world's largest CPA firms. Put simply, we build software for the people who enable trust between businesses.

We’re headquartered in San Francisco, CA and backed by top investors including Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, Floodgate, Y Combinator, DNX Ventures, Global Founders Capital, Justin Kan, Elad Gil, and more.

We value diversity — in backgrounds and in experiences. We need people from all backgrounds and walks of life to help build the future of audit and advisory. Fieldguide’s team is inclusive, driven, humble and supportive. We are deliberate and self-reflective about the kind of team and culture that we are building, seeking teammates that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting each other's growth.

As a growth stage startup employee, you’ll have the opportunity to build out the future of business trust. We make audit practitioners’ lives easier by eliminating up to 50% of their work and giving them better work-life balance. If you share our values and enthusiasm for building a great culture and product, you will find a home at Fieldguide.

About the role:

Fieldguide is seeking a Sales Onboarding Manager to join our growing Sales Enablement team. This role reporting to the Manager, Sales Enablement owns the onboarding experience for every new seller who joins Fieldguide. They will be responsible for building a scalable, trackable ramp system that grows with us. Training will be virtual by nature as our team is globally dispersed.

We have a strong foundation of onboarding that works today, but it is very “self serve”: proven ramp content and an internal knowledgebase. What's needed is someone to operationalize it by taking what exists today and build it into an AI driven, structured, measurable program inside a modern learning platform. You will have cross-functional support and leadership engagement, but this program lives with you: you set the strategy, drive the build, and own the outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Own Onboarding End-to-End: Build 30/60/90 benchmarks with each Sales leader. Own the full onboarding program for Sales from strategy, design, logistics, delivery, and iteration. You will work collaboratively with leadership while keeping the program itself squarely in your hands.

  • Build the System and continue iterating on content: Stand up onboarding that is scalable with live/virtual training as needed, including role-specific learning paths, knowledge checks, pass/fail certification standards, and clear ramp milestones tied to business outcomes.

  • Develop Multi-Modal Content: Create and maintain onboarding content across modalities — live or virtual training, self-serve e-learning, role-plays, check lists, job aids, and playbooks choosing the right mix for each learning objective.

  • Operationalize Methodology: Translate Fieldguide's sales methodology and value framework into structured onboarding modules, reinforcement activities, and practical application exercises so new hires can run effective discovery and articulate value from day one.

  • Certify Readiness: Design and administer certification programs that validate rep readiness before they're deployed in front of customers and prospects.

About you:

  • 4+ years in Sales Enablement, Sales Training, or a closely related field within B2B SaaS or enterprise technology

    • Audit, advisory, or professional services experience is a plus

  • Hands-on experience building programs inside a modern LMS/enablement platform — you know how to actually build the system, not just deliver the content

  • Demonstrated success designing and scaling onboarding programs, ideally spanning Sales and/or Customer Success

  • Experience with competency mapping and role-based learning design — you know how to define what "good" looks like for a rep, build against it, and assess for it

  • Background enabling teams on complex sales cycles or complex customer relationships (enterprise, technical buyers, multi-stakeholder deals)

  • Proven facilitation skills with the presence and energy to lead sessions in front of a growing audience

  • Data-driven approach: you set success metrics, monitor them, and let the numbers drive your next move

  • Excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple programs simultaneously with clear timelines and transparent stakeholder communication

  • Self-starter mentality and able to work autonomously

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience using Workramp or Guru

  • Experience using AI tools in aspects of onboarding
