Job Description

Primary Job Functions

  • Planning and executing sales activities, occasionally supporting sales activities outside Central Europe.
  • Ensuring effective internal organization of processes and structures.
  • Managing the area sales budget.
  • Developing and coaching the global sales team.
  • Executing company strategy and supporting the Business Development Manager in evaluating new business fields.
  • Participating in local and international exhibitions and conferences.
  • Being an active part of the global Recycling Team.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Business, Economics, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in selling large capital industrial equipment and managing large sales areas.
  • Knowledge of and selling to the waste and recycling industry is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and network within regional waste and recycling categories is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal in English) and interpersonal skills. 
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities. 
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems. 
  • Ability to work in customer waste and recycling plants and outside in high/low temperatures. 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50 - 70% of the time.

Pay Band

For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated annual base pay range for the Sales Manager position is $100,000 to $120,000. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. As with certain positions in the organization, this role is eligible for additional forms of compensation.
