Job Title: Sales Manager - Southeast

Reports to: Director of SMB Sales

Note: Candidates must reside in the Southeast region of the US to be considered for this role. Key territories for this market will consist of Miami, Tampa, Atlanta, Charleston, and Nashville but this will likely be expanded as we continue to grow. Up to 40% travel across the market territory may also be required, with expenses covered in accordance with company policy. 

Role Summary:

The inKind Sales Manager is a proactive, collaborative Sales individual who thrives on making connections in order to help move deals forward. The Sales Manager provides the first level of leadership, direction, and mentorship to the inKind Sales Teams, working in collaboration with and under the guidance of the Director of SMB Sales to ensure the success of the inKind Account Executives, Sales Development Representatives, and Partners of Business Development. The goal of the Sales Manager is to contribute to an increase in sales while maintaining the highest level of service for our restaurant partners, achieved by bringing qualified restaurant partners to the inKind platform through both outbound sales and supporting and coaching the sales team to hit their sales goals to hit their sales goals and metrics.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions: 

  • Source, qualify, and close new inKind restaurant partners to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas
  • Maintain a consistent level of activity in order to keep a full pipeline including reviewing old leads and lost opportunities for potential re-engagement
  • Act as a trusted partner and subject matter expert to prospects and customers
  • Work closely with the Onboarding Team to ensure smooth launches for new restaurant partners
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing and demand generation in order to continuously refine our acquisition approach
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners in order to secure future leads and referrals
  • Accurately track and update deals and communications in Salesforce in real time
  • Assist with the training and development of new and existing Sales team members 
  • Collaborate with both the People team and Director of Sales & Partner Success to screen and ultimately hire new Sales team members 
  • Assist the Director of Partner Success with tracking sales metrics, commissions due to Sales team members, etc. 
  • Assist the Director of Partner Success with performance management of Sales team members, including regular feedback cycles, reviews, weekly check-ins and 1-1s, etc. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a quota exceeding Sales role, preferably in Hospitality, FinTech, or SaaS
  • A hunter mentality with solid Sales and Business acumen
  • An extensive customer network
  • Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience
  • Prior experience supervising/managing a high performing Sales teams in a startup environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a quota exceeding Sales role, preferably in Hospitality, FinTech, or SaaS
  • Experience working with restaurants or food-related entities/clients
  • Experience in a startup environment is a plus

Work Environment:

  • This position is primarily remote within the Southeast Region 
  • Up to 40% travel across the market territory may also be required, with expenses covered in accordance with company policy.
  • This position may be required to frequently travel to inKind partner restaurant/hospitality and potential restaurant/hospitality locations, and be exposed to conditions typical of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, hotels, etc.

Salary

  • $120,000 base + $80,000 additional annual commission, uncapped
