ROLE:

The Sales Manager role is pivotal in steering our sales operations towards excellence. This role demands visionary leadership intertwined with actionable strategy. Tasked with harmonizing team efforts, refining sales methods, and nurturing client relationships, the Sales Manager also ensures optimal team performance and fosters a culture of unity and motivation.

The Sales Manager, in close coordination with the company's executive team, will establish sales targets, devise sales strategies, analyze performance data, oversee training, mentor the sales team, and provide overall sales team management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Team Leadership & Motivation: Oversee and mentor the Sales team, ensuring alignment towards common objectives, fostering unity, and motivating members through effective incentive schemes and acknowledgment of their achievements.
  • Strategic Development & Client Relations: Design strategies that enhance closing rates while bolstering client satisfaction (work closely with the Customer Success team). Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences to ensure relevant and up-to-date service offerings.
  • Client Nurturing & Conversion: Create a robust follow-up system for potential clients who didn't initially enroll, aiming for maximum conversion.
  • Performance Management: Monitor team metrics, ensuring adherence to organizational expectations, rewarding high performers, and addressing underperformance with patience and strategic interventions.
  • Training & Staffing: Coordinate with company founders for continuous training and professional development. Forecast recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training needs, ensuring teams are adequately staffed and trained up.
  • Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team for lead generation plans and ensure effective collaboration between Sales and Marketing teams.
RESULTS (First 90 Days and Onward):
  • Achieve and maintain an overall closing rate of 40%+ or higher.
  • Help with hiring at least 1-2 new sales representatives
  • Ensure a steady increase in client enrollment numbers quarter-on-quarter.
  • Weekly report of total sales activity for entire Sales team is filled out and presented to Executive Team
  • Each member of the sales team meets KPI benchmarks (otherwise sales rep receives PIP), reports KPIs daily, and is properly coached, including role play.
  • Company values and culture are maintained and reflected by all on sales team
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience: Proven 5+ years of work experience as a Sales Manager, ideally in the pay-per-lead or marketing services industry working with both inbound and outbound sales reps.
  • Team Scaling & Management: Demonstrated experience in scaling small sales teams, implementing sales operational infrastructure and ensuring optimal team performance and cohesion.
  • Skills: Ability to drive the sales pipeline process from plan to close, excellent mentoring, and leadership skills. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Technological & Data Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (Go High Level) and comfortable analyzing sales metrics at a granular level.
  • Personal Traits: Highly motivated with a proven track record in sales and a growth mindset. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
COMPENSATION:
  • $120,000 - $140,000 base per year + commission
  • OTE $180,000 - $200,000
  • The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below).
