Job Description:
Regional Sales Manager
This role is responsible for selling company product to new and existing customers. This role requires the ability to effectively identify and translate the company’s ability to provide solutions to customer needs. Partner with accounts to identify current and future customer needs; cultivate and maintain working relationships in the development of sales leads both internally and externally. Identify new markets, product, and adjacent service opportunities; develop and create organizational support of viable programs to capture business opportunities. Essential functions of the role include:
- Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests; demonstrate company’s product capability by preparing and conducting sales presentations
- Negotiate terms and pricing on sales contracts; close orders to meet sales budgets and quotas
Coordinate sales efforts with other departments; ensure customer purchase and service requirements are being met - Conduct pre and post-installation seminars; work with field service personnel to resolve any installation problems
- Monitor competitive activity and trends in the marketplace; determine value management/positioning of company product in the market and competitive differentiation
- Plan, organize, guide, and leads projects and/or subordinate team members
Serve as a leader of authority in one or more areas; may be called upon to consult in other areas
Experience required:
- 5+ years of capital equipment sales experience in an industrial market
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience leading and developing agency sales programs
- Ability to proficiently write and speak English fluently
- The ability to execute strategies focused on organizational growth.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in a matrix organization.
- Experience working inside of the print industry
The compensation for this role will consist of a competitive base salary with a range between $80,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience and geographical location plus high earning potential in uncapped commissions in addition to a robust benefits package.
