The Sales Incentive Data Architect & Process Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will own all aspects of Incentive Compensation data accessibility & reporting in support of Beckman Coulter’s North America Commercial Sales Teams. There is a heavy focus on maintaining an Incentive System, including data intake and writing various credit & commission rules.

This position is a key member of the Commercial Operations team for the North America Commercial organization.  At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in full end-to-end incentive compensation process with a focus on data integrity/accuracy but also including IC plan design, goal setting, administration, communication, awards/contests, and IC governance; Create models for the Sales Incentive systems’ data management and integrate existing databases or infrastructure
  • Manage the data process end to end. This role is the data subject matter expert for everything transferred to and/or housed in the Xactly Incent SPM system; Develop ETL processes to extract data from the source system, transform it, and load it into the target system.
  • Create technical documentation for the Sales Incentive systems’ data functionality, tools, and how they work together; Report designing- creating and maintaining various performance reports that measure the health of the IC plan.
  • Deliver thought leadership and subject matter expertise to stakeholders by instilling best practices in all areas of incentive compensation in alignment with company objectives, brand strategies, and sales force efforts; Develop strategic partnerships with Sales leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure company objectives and brand strategies are supported and achieved through incentive compensation program.
  • Continuously monitor IC performance and perform IC health checks to identify areas for improvement; benchmark and compare Beckman Coulter with direct competitors on IC plan design, goal setting, administration, reporting, communication, awards/contests, and governance.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 9+ years of related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI and reporting and data analytics tools such as SAS, QlikView, Spotfire, Tableau, and Business Objects.
  • Extensive System Testing using the DEV and UAT environments; Fluency in SQL, Python, DAX, and M languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations. Must be able to present complex information accurately and persuasively to all levels of management.
  • Strong data management capabilities, including data integration and interdependencies across sources; A firm grasp of complex modeling techniques related to various types of high-level analysis (e.g., forecasting, business analytics, sales incentive modeling, etc.) is required,

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • 10+ years of database architecture, software development or database administration experience, preferably in the diagnostics industry
  • Certified Data Architect and experience managing incentive software systems, Xactly preferred.
  • Experience managing projects and vendors

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
