Position Overview

K18 is seeking a Sales Forecasting and Business Analyst. The Sales Forecasting and Business Analyst creates, manages, and analyzes data and processes to support sales strategies, improve efficiency, and drive revenue growth. 

Key responsibilities include generating sales reports, forecasting demand, analyzing market trends, updating forecast tools and collaborating with stakeholders across departments. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

Sales Data Analysis & Reporting: 

  • Create, analyze, and present detailed sales reports, dashboards, and charts to stakeholders, identifying trends, patterns, and actionable insights to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Ensure standard item and account level reporting are available & shared, as well as key strategic/ad-hoc analysis e.g. new item performance, promotional activity impact, new account launches, weekly sell-thru summary, etc.
  • Provide key updates and insights to Director of Sales Forecasting for share out to leadership and broader company.

Sales Forecasting & Demand Planning: 

  • Analyze demand, collaborate on forecast aggregation, and provide accurate forecasts for sales and operations using sell-in, sell-thru, and market data available
  • Leverage existing and new forecasting tools to maintain comprehensive forecast database – including core, new items, promotional items, samples, etc.
  • Share updated forecast and relevant updates to necessary sales, marketing, and operational stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Support Director of Forecasting by ensuring demand planning tool is updated; participate in monthly S&OP discussions leveraging demand plan
  • Ensure demand is updated and validated on all items, especially limited life, GWPs, new, samples, to improve inventory accuracy.

Sales Process & System Optimization:

  • Support existing forecasting processes and communication with sales and marketing stakeholders
  • Lead updating and optimization of newly implemented demand tool (OPC)

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales teams, marketing, finance, and management to ensure alignment on strategies, processes, and reporting requirements. Ensure details are translated accurately and in a timely manner to stakeholders.
  • Support Director of Forecasting in preparation of reporting and materials for key monthly meetings

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate complex information into actionable insights. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft BI) and data analysis software.
  • Strong attention-to-detail and ability to follow-up to ensure data is updated and reflective of commercial team request

Salary Range: up to 95k in USD 

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
