Sales Executive

About your role:

You will join the Renewals team as a Sales Executive focused on retaining and rebuilding relationships with clients who are not fully satisfied with their experience. In this role, you will lead complex renewal negotiations across multiple products and internal teams, bringing a client-advocate mindset to deliver long-term retention outcomes. The role requires a strategic mindset to build strong relationships, develop selling strategies, and close deals efficiently.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead assigned renewal opportunities in partnership with Relationship Managers, with a focus on rebuilding client trust and improving satisfaction.
  • Maintain a strong client-facing presence through frequent on-site engagement and relationship building with key stakeholders.
  • Own commercial strategy and contract negotiations, including terms, pricing, and multi-product agreements.
  • Develop strategies, tactics, and account plans to identify, qualify, and secure new clients.
  • Navigate internal alignment and approvals, negotiating internally to secure commitments needed to retain clients.
  • Leverage executive-level contacts to enhance account coverage and create demand.
  • Develop long-term client relationships based on mutual value and trust, leading to repeat business.
  • Share industry, solution, deal, and sales best practices with the sales community.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 6+ years of direct selling experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education, work history and military experience.
  • Ability to travel extensively (approximately 80%) and be on-site with clients regularly.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience in client-facing sales, renewals/retention, or complex account negotiations with demonstrated contract negotiation success.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Fiserv and the ability to support solutions across different products/functions based on client needs.
  • Experience working with and negotiating deals involving client consultants or advisory firms.
  • Experience leading client recovery efforts where systemic service/delivery issues were a contributing factor.

How you’ll work:

This role is Remote – US with required travel up to 80% of the time. Success requires consistent in-person client engagement, including weekly on-site presence as needed to establish trust, drive alignment, and progress complex save/renewal negotiations.
