The Sales Executive IV will pursue and work alongside banks and credit unions that are looking to improve their digital banking strategy and performance. We are seeking candidates that are highly motivated, have a history of success with business development/sales, and exhibit strong relationship building, communications, problem solving, and closing skills. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in direct sales, client sales, BDR, or similar role selling to Financial Institutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • This is a hunter role - you're expected to actively prospect and network in your assigned territory to generate sales opportunities with Community Financial Institutions. Develop strategies tailored to C-level executives goals and objectives leveraging your extended Alkami team to bring these opportunities to close.

  • Develop and execute strategies for quickly developing sales territory.

  • Create, maintain, and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and funnel information.

  • Articulate the value proposition of the product and service to convert prospects.

  • Negotiate/close deals and handle objections.

  • Participate on behalf of the company for trade shows and conferences.

  • Travel to meet with prospective customers and markets within your territory.

  • Travel to meet with existing customers within your territory.

  • Collaborate with the team to achieve better results.

  • Act as a mentor to Sales Executive team members.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrable success of selling, building winning relationships and building new business pipelines are essential.

  • High ethical standards and determination to succeed.

  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly at all levels of the organization, including C-level.  Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications.

  • Sales Experience: 7+ years experience carrying or directly supporting a quota.

  • Ability to travel 25-50%

  • Experience closing complex deals.

  • Computer skills: Proficient at common office/MS applications and personal computing

  • Professional Drive:  must have a strong sense of urgency and accountability to generate new sales.

  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to articulate examples of learning technical products or solutions.

  • Abstract Reasoning: Ability to analyze, assess and address prospects needs within the context of our products and services

Desired Skills:

  • Previous sales experience within the financial technology industry 

  • Experience targeting credit unions and banks for clients

  • Previous experience mentoring sales team members

The salary range for this position is: $113,914 - $170,872Cool Things to Know
