Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Sales Enablement Regional Director to join our amazing culture. In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in driving sales excellence across specified Region. This role supports the Local Vertical Sales Enablement initiative by ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with Vertical and Company strategies, as well as regional strategies for growth in the Local Verticals. As a Sales Enablement Regional Director, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

The Regional Director provides strategic and tactical significance across the Local Vertical businesses by enabling Colleagues to compete, differentiate, position, and win business in our Existing and Prospect selling arenas.  His/her value is furthered by the ability to align and simplify the various Enablement, Sales, Business Development, Support and Technical resources serving the Field.

This role aligns Sales Enablement, Vertical Markets, Service Operations, Marketing, and more in a way that simplifies complexity.  

This role supports the Local Vertical Sales Enablement initiative by ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with Vertical and Company strategies, as well as regional strategies for growth in the Local Verticals.

The Regional Director is expected to perform the role in a manner that emulates Convergint’s core Values and Beliefs.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

  • Successful implementation of standardized Sales Enablement Sessions for Standardized Convergint Enablement Toolset across specified region. In partnership with Local Leadership, lead Sales Colleagues through the enablement and adoption best practices of Advanced Consultative Sales Program(s), Business Reviews, Cold Prospecting Program, & STEP Tool
  • Drive adoption and Call-to-Action activity by collaborating with Local Leadership and/or AEs on strategy, approach, and delivery of Standardized Enablement Toolset including the Business Reviews, Cold Prospect Program, and STEP Tool.
  • In partnership with Regional/Local Leadership and Local Vertical Market teams, develop and execute Regional Enablement Sessions for both internal Colleague enablement, as well as external Clients/Prospects.
  • Support the on-boarding of new Colleagues.

  • Proven leadership and ability to drive change, move colleagues to action, develop strategies for growth and competitive advantage, deliver Company mission and value.
  • Must be able to operate in a Matrix environment including CDC, Field/CTC Leadership, Account Executives, and a full compliment of Verticalized and Specialized support Programs at Convergint. 
  • Mastery of key selling and positioning across Local Vertical Markets will be required, including  SLED, Healthcare, and Utilities in addition to Financial and Federal.
  • Ability to earn trust, influence others to action, position value of our Program positively and that of the company.
  • Ability to operate in matrix environment autonomously while being a team player / coach to colleagues and teammates.
  • This colleague is fully aligned with Convergint Values, Beliefs, Goals and Direction.  Capable of leading by action and influencing others relative to each.
  • Ability to leverage Convergint performance data resources, relevant internal Share Point locations, and virtual presentation software.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to perform while doing so in a change environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years leading colleagues focused on sales activities, preferably in the security industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
  • Must reside in (or relocate to) the U.S. North East region.
